It’s a well-known fact that dogs are part of the family, and leaving them behind isn’t always an option. So we’d love for you to bring your four-legged mate to stay at The Intrepid.
We’ve set aside a spacious room, which has specially been set up to cater to you and your doggo. Puffin, our resident natural wine bar, is also dog friendly.
Your pooch will have their own wool-filled, NZ-made dog bed from Life of Riley and bowls for water and food.
Below are our Pooch Room terms and conditions to ensure dogs and humans alike have a fantastic stay.
One dog per room allowed.
Dogs are not to be left unattended in the room.
Maximum three-night stay. (For longer stays, get in touch.)
Our designated Pooch Rooms are a Baker Street (king size) rooms. Pooch Rooms are an additional $50 per night on top of a Baker Street rate.
We have a limited number of Pooch Rooms, so we cannot guarantee a Pooch Room will always be available.
Your pooch must sleep on the dog bed provided. You’re more than welcome to bring your dog’s favourite blanket so they feel at home.
Pooches must be kept under control and on a lead at all times when in hotel common areas.
Your pet must be fully house trained and we ask you to whip them over to Glover Park for loo breaks regularly.
Any damage will need to be covered by the guest.
Upon check in and key handover, you agree to these terms and conditions and violation of any of these terms may incur an additional fee.

Due to limited availability, Pooch Rooms can only be booked via email. To book a stay with your dog, please email hello@theintrepidhotel.com with your preferred dates. Woof!
