Amenities

We want The Intrepid Hotel to be your home away from home. So we’ve put together a few creature comforts to make your stay just right. All of our rooms come with a 50 inch LG SmartTV, complimentary Wi-Fi, Real World bathroom products, and complimentary drinks, snacks, tea, and coffee. Below are just a few favourites we’ve curated to give you an intimate and luxurious experience.

bathroom bits

Single-use mini bottles are terrible for the planet and deeply unnecessary. We partnered with plant-based skin-care producer Real World who make their sustainable range right here in New Zealand. But you’ll find a selection of their products in our shop to enjoy at home.

If you’ve forgotten your toothbrush, razor or cotton buds, don’t fret! Help yourself to our range of toiletries that are sustainably made and produced with recycled materials.

fresh coffee and tea, on us

You won’t find sachets of instant and UHT milk at The Intrepid. Grab an Intrepid robe, head out to the landing and help yourself to freshly brewed Supreme coffee or make a cup of Libertine Tea. Both Kiwi purveyors of fine beverages.

Turndown service

There’s nothing quite like coming back from a long day of exploring the city to a room ready for you to settle in for the night. We’ll get your bed ready, set the lights to evening mode and pop a choccie on your pillow. The Intrepid turndown service is optional and, of course (you guessed it), complimentary.

the puffin

Occupying the ground floor of The Intrepid Hotel is one of New Zealand’s best natural wine experiences, The Puffin. Opened in 2019 this beautiful bar has cemented itself as one of city’s most enjoyable places to drink and hoover up some salty snacks. Just head downstairs or feel free to bring a bottle back to your room.

Brekky in bed

We’ve got you sorted with a complimentary fresh-baked treat and a juice. Just head downstairs from around 8am. A little something to keep you going until you venture out into the brunch-iest part of Wellington.
